  2. WCCCD's Prechter Theater hosts 'Phantom Unmasked: The Songs of Broadway'

November 11, 2017, 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM @ Heinz Prechter Center, Wayne County Community College Downriver Campus

The Heinz C. Prechter Educational and Performing Arts Center is pleased to present a musical evening, The Phantom Unmasked: The Songs of Broadway, featuring award-winning tenor Franc D’Ambrosio. Best known for his portrayal of the “Phantom” in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Tony Award winning musical, The Phantom of the Opera, Franc has earned the title of “The Iron Man of the Mask”. With over 11 years and 2,300 performances, he gained the distinction of “The World’s Longest Running Phantom,” a title he retained for over a decade. Franc D'Ambrosio has joined the ranks of the famed Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman as only a handful of Phantom alumni to successfully crossover to solo careers. An exciting part of this wonderful evening of song will be the opportunity that two local singers will have to perform the duet “All I Ask of You” with Franc as a part of the show. For information on the auditions, contact Steve Wildern, Theatre Operations Dean at 734-374-3232.
