Pursuant to The Federal Firearms statues, The Michigan Compiled Laws Firearms Chapter and the City of Taylor Code of ordinances, The City of Taylor Police Department intends to dispose of the listed firearms. If an owner of a listed firearm wishes to file a claim for the listed firearms, the claim must be filed within a 30-day period of this posting. In order to make a claim for a listed firearm you must contact the Police Records Bureau at 734-287-6611.
The Auxiliary Police Department will conducts public auction pursuant to the City of Taylor Code of Ordinances. The auctions will be posted here. Auctions are typically held at the Taylor Recreation Center located at 22805 Goddard Rd, Taylor, MI 48180 (734) 374-8900.
Auctions are held from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m or until all property is sold., there will be a preview where people can come in and view what is there from 8:30 a.m to 10:00 a.m. The actual auction will begin at 10 a.m.
Items for auction include jewelry, bikes, various tools, and other general household goods.
Payment will be cash only
At this time there is no scheduled Auxiliary Auction date but will be planned for October 2019.
If an owner would like to claim for the property listed in the item sheets below a claim must be made at the Taylor Police Department Records window before the auction date and within 30 days of this posting or expiration of contact letter sent to the owners home.
